Prologin is the French national computer-science and algorithmics contest for under-20s.

Format

Three stages of increasing intensity:

  1. A qualification quiz,
  2. regional semi-finals, then
  3. a non-stop 36-hour final where contestants program a game AI.

The 2025 final, held on 30 May 2025, was built around a themed game, Barbotage Glacé, where you program an AI to compete. Over 36 hours, contestants implement, debug and tune a strategy that plays the game against everyone else’s. The full subject is embedded below.
