Shotcave
A full cooperative roguelike inside Minecraft.
Developer (with Yolwoocle & Gouspourd)

ShotCave is a Minecraft plugin (Spigot 1.20.1) that turns the game into a cooperative or solo roguelike. Descend through an abandoned mine of procedurally generated levels, fight custom enemies and bosses, buy upgrades from shared shops, and revive your teammates to go deeper. A personal project built with Yolwoocle & Gouspourd.
Structure
The run is split into 4 worlds of 3 floors each, generated procedurally so no two descents are the same. Doors gate progress, and shops appear between fights.
Each floor is procedurally generated from YAML-defined building blocks.
Shared-money shops let the team spend together between floors.
Doors and floor transitions structure the descent.
Worlds
Each world has its own theme, enemies and hazards.
World 1: the Coal Mine.
World 2: the Aquifer.
World 3: Hell.
World 4: the Mushroom Cave.
Combat & weapons
10+ weapons combine through status-effect synergies. For example, soaking an enemy in petrol and then igniting it triggers an explosion. Weapons and effects are all data-driven.
Bosses
The Broodmother.
The Coal Skeleton.
The Corrupted Miner.
Enemies
A roster of custom mobs, each with its own behaviour, populates the worlds: miners, skeletons, spiders, TNT zombies, bees, mushroom guys, shulkers and slimes.
Miner.
Skeleton.
Spider.
TNT Zombie.
Architecture
ShotCave is fully YAML-driven. Games, levels, enemies, weapons and loot tables are all described in configuration. On top of that sits a complete developer API (interfaces, events and modules) so server owners can customise generation, mobs and gameplay without touching the core code.
